This presentation will focus on discussing best practices for HR and Talent Acquisition Professionals to utilize in the talent acquisition lifecycle.
The key learning objectives for this session are:
1) To provide an overview of the current labor market, and its impact on hiring
2) To discuss pitfalls that are inhibiting companies from being able to identify, attract and retain top talent
3) To share best practices with the group related to Recruiting, Interviewing, Hiring, Onboarding and Employee Retention and
4) to allow the attendees to ask for objective feedback related to specific TA/HR challenges that they may have within their company and industry.

Christina Lock, CEO: Christina is an entrepreneur, leader, human resources executive, and public speaker with a proven track record of building companies and talent attraction expertise. As Founder and CEO of Catch Talent, Christina leads the delivery of technical recruiting services to growing technology companies. Christina serves on the boards of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, Charleston Women in Tech, and is the Chairperson for the Harbor Entrepreneur Center. Dan Coombs, President: Dan is an accomplished talent acquisition executive, business leader, mentor, and philanthropist. He was also a Principal for a subsidiary of Life Cycle Engineering and built an intrapreneurial-based IT & Engineering Recruiting Firm from the ground up. Dan is actively involved with the Citadel's Baker School of Business, The Charleston Digital Corridor, Palmetto SHRM, RestartSC Career Development, and several other philanthropic civic organizations.
