Pete Leonard’s current and most impactful venture is “I Have a Bean” a coffee roasting company he co-
founded in 2007. As the inventor of the innovative Bean Master 5000 roasting system, Pete revolutionized
both the science and the art of coffee roasting. However, his greatest innovation lies in his use of the
invention to fuel a social mission that is reshaping societal expectations of formerly incarcerated people.
